Mase is currently working on his fourth studio album back under Bad Boy after his brief but exciting stint on G-Unit. While Nas is sitting back on his spoils from his recent success Hip-Hop Is Dead which dropped earlier this year #1 on the Billboard Top 200.

July 1, 2005: First off, sorry for the lack of updates but there's been no news on either Ma$e or Nas lately. But here's a quick update on each of the artists. MTV.com reports:
Mase Advises DMX To Rap Again, Wait For The Lord's Call
and  With Tracks From Eve, Nas, Mary J. On Tap, Swizz Beatz Is Hotter Than Ever and Ma$e's next album entitled Karma is expected to be out in early Sept. 2005. As for Nas there has been no news of him releasing another album anytime soon but it has been rumored The Game may be interested in signing with the Queens Bridge alumi under his Ill Will Record label.

December 8, 2004: Billboard.com reports,
New York rapper Nas, who has three chart-topping Billboard 200 albums to his credit, enters at No. 5 with "Street's Disciple." The Sony Urban Music/Columbia set sold 232,000 copies, an improvement over 2002's "God's Son," which bowed at No. 18 with 156,000 copies in 2002; the set has sold 1.2 million to date.

Nas Shares 'Street' Stories, Whether Nas discourses on street life, politics or love, you can always count on one thing: He is not going to pull any punches.
October 1, 2004: MTV.com reports,
Nas is dancing, playing air guitar and � wow � the often-stoic street's disciple is smiling so wide you can see almost all of his teeth. And why not? He's filming a video with his father for the first time. "Bridging the Gap" is going to be the second video off of Nas's upcoming album release of "The Street's Disciple".
October 1, 2004: Billboard.com reports,
Another week has gone by but Mase's second single "Breath, Stretch, Shake" continues to hold strong in it's seventh week, staying at # 28 on the Billboard Hot 100. However in it's fifth week Mase's third album "Welcome Back" fell nine spots from #23 to #32 according to The Billoard Top 200 albums and Nielson Sound Scan.

September 17, 2004: MTV.com reports, 50 Cent threatens Nas as a comeback to what Nas said in a sell out concert almost a month ago in a new diss track featuring Llyod Banks. Here's a little "All of a sudden, n---as think they need to try me 'cause my video is on MTV." Then 50 comes in, not rapping but talking to Nas. "I heard that n---a Nas talk about me. He don't want it with me..."

Other performers at the concert were Busta Rhymes, The Infamous Mobb Deep, Q-Tip, and Talib Kweli who had to hop the fences just to get in.
