MAS Veterans 2 - 0 VI Old Boys
Winning Streak Continues

PKNS, Kelana Jaya
2 April 2006

Jamross and Rosli Jaafar scored a goal each to enable MAS Veterans beat VI Old Boys at Kelana Jaya field today. However, the match was one of the toughest this year when VI Old Boys played well in the second and third set, but they did not manage to scythe open the solid MAS Veterans defence. MAS Veterans took the lead when Jamross outsprint the entire VI Old Boys defence and slotted the ball home from five yards out. He should have scored another goal but his effort flew inches wide. The second goal was blasted in by Rosli Jaafar, after an inswinging corner by Mauzi created chaos inside the box. Overall, the team played quite well especially the defence - Razali was also in his element when he managed to keep another clean sheet this year.

MAS Veterans should have added a third, but Kadir muffed his chance in the dying seconds. Probably his brand new "Retirement is Good" Puma (kain) boots were too sleek for him.

Another win for MAS Veterans - their 13th in a row for 2006!

Mauzi and Adzha- shouting to each other throughout the match.

Retirement is good.....Kadir's brand new RM350 Puma (kain) boots.
