MAS Veterans 3-1 OAK Football Club
5th Win In a Row

PKNS Kelana Jaya
12 Feb 2006

A heavy downpour before the match did not deter MAS Veterans from winning their fifth game in a row today. After falling behind in the 10th minute from, yet another defensive calamity, MAS Veterans clawed back and hammered in three unanswered goals, courtesy of Mahathir, Chong(pen) and RizalYob. The match also saw the largest turnout for 2006 when twenty one players showed up, thus contibuted to extra cash in the team's coffer, albeit extra headaches for Razali as the head of Internal Revenue Service
.

OAK FC capitalised on a defensive error early in the first set, but the team bounced back and quickly equalised through Mahathir. In the second and third set, it was all MAS Veterans. They took the lead through a converted penalty from Chong after Mahzan was fouled inside the box, surprisingly the latter used to give more penalties to the other opponents in the previous matches. Jamross was quite unclucky when his thunderous freekick hit the bar, and bounced out for a fruitless corner. RizalYob put the final nail to OAK FC's coffin when he slotted the ball between the keeper's legs after a neat 1-2 with Adzha.
