Capt Nik spurred MAS Veterans to victory

Capt Nik celebrated his 49th birthday with a goal against PSIVAS Regal at RRI Field today. He scored with a crisp right footer from outside of the box, and also his third in the last two matches. PSIVAS Regal goalkeeper kept MAS Veterans at bay with a couple of fine saves, but he could do nothing when Junaidi's glancing header capped another fine perfomance by MAS Veterans. After the match, the team was feted with a sumptous dinner at Big Plate Restaurant - courtesy of Capt Nik and also to celebrate his 14-year-old son's senior debut with the team.

One of the main sponsor, Delta Aviation, flew from Miami to witness the match and promised to continue their support for MAS Veterans team.
