Two goals from Mahathir and a glancing header from Kadir sealed the win for MAS Veterans. They are now unbeaten in six matches and scored a total of 28 goals against 11 in as many matches.

A jet-lagged Kadir was introduced in the second half, and scored the first goal with the help of his new cap from Hong Kong's night market.
