I've been named to the Board of Directors of Operation Outreach-USA, a nonprofit literacy and character education program based in Natick, MA. The organization provides books and curriculum materials to students and teachers in schools throughout the country. Operation Outreach was founded by the late Mal Stamper, the former President and Vice-Chairman of the Boeing Company. To date nearly 900,000 students in schools in all 50 states have received books through the program.
My children's book, THE DUCK IN THE HOLE, was published by Operation Outreach U.S.A. in July 2007. It is now available on Amazon.com.
