| Marysville Main Street was established in 2000, with the purpose of revitalizing the downtown area. The Marysville Main Street Program is a non-profit, volunteer based organization that consists of four committees through which all goals and objectives are attained. Main Street is a tight knit community of retail and service businesses dedicated to the success of downtown. There are over 1500 Main Street Cities across the United States, in addition to Marysville there are 21 other Main Street designated cities within Kansas. The Kansas Main Street program is designed as a downtown economic development and preservation self-help program. Through it, a positive image is created for the central business district based on the historic and architectural features of the community. Marysville Main Street invites you to join us in revitalizing a lasting legacy in downtown. |
