Silence Is Not Golden 3 - Revenge
Patt
Notes: For Corinna who asked for more. :)
I love after sex talk.
Jim opens himself up more to me, then.
He wasn't expecting it when I asked him who called him about me.
My lover has no control when it comes to answering me.
He could never lie to me.
He smiled at me and said, 'Mark Moore.'
I smiled at him and told him to relax and go to sleep.
I lay most of the night and plotted out how I could get away with killing
him.
Sure wish a person could, sometimes.
He's a stinking lousy cop who hates gays.
What's ironic is he asked me out before Jim and I were an item.
Now suddenly he's against gays.
Jim's easily hurt.
Well, I'll take care of Moore and show him you don't mess with what's mine.
I won't allow it.
I'm going to kick his ass.
After work, I leave Jim with Simon and take off.
Simon knows.
Jim knows.
Jim's afraid for me.
Jim also realizes it's something I have to do.
I meet with Mike Moore and tell him exactly how it is.
He tries to make a joke out of it, but I won't have it.
I then told him I was going to call his superior if it ever happened again.
Then his friends and family.
Now, he's scared.
He would rather die than have someone know he was gay.
Stupid fuck.
As I walk away, I'm smiling.
I didn't have to lift a finger.
I did it all with my brains.
Jim will be so fucking proud.
I get home and Jim's sitting on the sofa deflated.
I walk over to him, hug him and tell him I love him.
He looks into my eyes and sees all is right with the world.
He tells me he's sorry. Again.
I told him, revenge was mine, with no bloodshed.
Then he smiled and hugged me back.
Tonight is going to be good, I can tell.
He wants to show me how much he loves me.
I'm going to show him he belongs to only me.
I pity the fool who ever messes with Jim again.
Up the stairs we go, to begin a night of love.
Revenge is good, but love is greater.
