| Current Reads The Complete Collected Poems of Maya Angelou I came across this lady's poems some years ago, and since then I cannot put them down. Look for "Still I Rise" on the Poetry page. Road Atlas Of Sweden The Secret World of the Irish Male - Joseph 0' Connor This is side splitting funny!! He goes on and on, (typical male) on just about everything, from Jesus Christ, Rolf Harris, James Joyce (what company!) oh lets not forget wee Daniel, to flavoured condoms, ceilidh bands, International Peace, rock and roll, the list goes on and on. It looks at the Irish male in a very perceptive way, giving us vivid pictures of his life as he grew up. Are his accounts autobiographical? I leave you to work that one out ;-) |
