'Cause I used to have angels that used to watch over me. Love was not a stranger, but love ain't not what it used to be. And I don't want these angels they're knocking at my door. No, I can't love you no more. Breangwen was watching Cat today while her mother was out on business yet again, today was a good day though. Why? Because their cousin who was still family even if he was twice removed was coming back from Rikers today. Mac was being released on extremely good behavior; he was also a con artist so he could make people think he was. His mother had been looking after his apartment in the city while he was away in the slammer, now he was coming home and he’d be working for Cat’s mom now to pay for his bills. Cat looked at the clock and moved to get up from Brean’s couch, Brean watched her. “Where are you off to?” “Work. I’m working the afternoon shift until mom changes my schedule again.” “Uh huh, sure you are.” Brean gave a knowing smirk. Cat rolled her eyes and left for work, truth be told she hadn’t seen hide nor hair of Bosco since that ball thing.

Mac knew all about Bosco since Cat always went to visit him and told him everything that was going on, hell Cat even showed him a picture of what Bosco looked like. You might have thought that I would be a little bit lazy I might not notice... I might not care Oh, but now you're finding out, I'm a little bit crazy,

And you were the one, so unaware. Dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans, Lugz© boots and a beanie hat, Mac was carrying groceries to his building when he stopped. Something was wrong with the picture in front of him; he was watching Bosco leave his building and his neighbor Lucielle waving goodbye to him. “Fuck.” He muttered in a thick Bronx accent as he carried his groceries inside and unpacked them. He had to tell Cat, but she was at work so he may have to drive down. Shaking his head, he would go and see Breangwen first.

And I'm going to meet you...

I'm going to greet you...

At her back door as you're coming out...

Oh, I just know...

'Cause I used to have angels that used to watch over me

Love was not a stranger, but love ain't not what it used to be

And I don't want these angels they're knocking at my door

No, I can't love you no more.

Breangwen was at work, in another three piece business suit while taking pictures for a model agency and magazine company all at once. “Breangwen, there’s someone here to see you. Says he’s family.” Breangwen paused and looked at her assistant Jennie then at the models, “Take five everyone, and go have some lunch.” Breangwen moved towards her desk, “Let him in Jennie.” “Yes ma’am.” Jennie let Mac in and then left to go get lunch for the crew. “Breangwen.” “Hey Mac, what’s shaking cousin?” She then saw the look on his face. “Oh no, what is it?” “I think you may want to sit down for this one.” Breangwen breathed deeply and sat down, motioning to the chair across from her for him to sit as well. “So, why did you come to me with that look of ‘I saw something horrible’ on your face.” Mac exhaled deeply and rested back in his chair, “I saw…Bosco leaving my building just a few minutes ago. My neighbor Lucielle was waving goodbye to him.” Breangwen slowly began to fell how Cat would if she found out --- pissed. “Was he in uniform?” Her muscles twitched. “No, he wasn’t. He had…this look on his face that guys usually do when they’ve…hit it.” Breangwen knew that look, she growled softly. “You plan on telling Cat?” “Yes, I do…can you two drop by my place after you’re both done with work?” “You have a plan?” “Yes, infact I do.” Mac slowly got up from his chair. “I’ll see you later, say around…10 p.m.—ish?” “Works for me. Later Mac.” He left to go back to his place and clean up.

'Cause I used to have angels that used to watch over me

Love was not a stranger, but love ain't not what it used to be

And I don't want these angels they're knocking at my door

No, I can't love you no more.

I'm going to let you go... yes, I'm going to let you go...

I won't take it ... I won't take it no more...

Do you hear what I'm saying?

Do you hear what I'm saying?

Don't think you can come back here to change my mind...

Don't think you can come back here to take it all back...

Later on that night, Breangwen and Cat showed up at Mac’s place for the night. He made them dinner and kept an eye out in the hallway after the girls went to sleep in the guest bedroom. Sometime after midnight, Bosco showed up at Lucielle’s again and he shook his head. Shutting off all the lights, he set his alarm for 10 a.m. and went to bed. The next morning, they all woke up around 8:45 a.m. and Breangwen made breakfast while Cat watched some TiVo. “Mac, when does this plan of yours’ roll into action.” Mac glanced at his watch, “At exactly 10 a.m. that’s about fifteen minutes before I saw him leaving yesterday.” Breangwen nodded and set the table, they all ate breakfast. Around 9:55 a.m., Mac told Cat to go over and wait at Lucielle’s doorstep for a while, because there was something she needed to see.

At exactly 10 a.m., Lucielle’s door opened up and Cat’s eyes turned into wildfire. Breangwen looked at Mac who just shook his head and went to get more coffee. “Bosco…” She hissed underneath her breath, she had caught him off guard. “Now I think I know why you haven’t called in the past few days. Out whoring yourself around to others…” “Excuse you!” Lucielle shouted at Cat, Cat narrowed her eyes and snarled lowly. “Now, Cat…I...” “Save it, Officer.” Without sudden warning, she slugged Bosco right across the jaw and he stumbled back. Breangwen snickered and then stepped away from the doorframe. Catching his balance, Bosco looked at Cat. “I’ll talk to you later.” Cat eyes turned red (or at least she wished they would.) as she faced Lucielle, “You have just made a very big mistake.” Cat kicked Lucielle back into her apartment and slammed the door. “I’m leaving.” Cat dashed back inside Mac’s place and grabbed her stuff. “Breangwen, I’ll call you when I’m safe. Same goes for you Mac.” Breangwen sighed and just nodded as her cousin took off. “Bosco is so now paying for this one. I have to call the others and you call her mom.” Mac nodded and went ahead to do that as Breangwen called the pack. They were now all on red alert to notify either Brean or Mac if they see or hear from Cat, they also called Jane…her parole officer to let her know what was going on.

Cat found herself at a runaway shelter a few miles out of town and decided she’d stay there a few nights. She couldn’t go home --- he’d look there first, not to mention he knew where Brean lived and Mac as well so there was no point as to staying with relatives. Breangwen went to work and Mac handled the CoffeeShop while Cat was in hiding, they were worried about her but at the same time they knew she’d recover and move forward. She was right, immediately when Bosco got off shift he went to Cat’s mom’s place and got no answer. Next, he went to Breangwen’s and she wasn’t there, lastly he checked the CoffeeShop and then Mac’s place but she was gone for the time being. Around four in the morning, Breangwen received a phone call. “Cat…?” “Hey.” “Where are you? Are you all right?” “I’m at one of those runaway shelters outside the city, I’m doing fine.” “You know what ‘fine’ stands for…don’t you?” Cat breathed deeply and sighed some. “Unfortunately. Freaked-out. Insecure. Neurotic. And Emotional.” Breangwen smiled some and sat up, “He came here looking for you and according to Mac he did the same thing there but walked away after he found out you weren’t.” Cat gave a dry chuckle and sighed, “I’m heading home now…but don’t tell anyone just yet…all right?” “Okay, you have my word.” “Brean?” “Yes Cat?” “Go back to sleep.” “Arg!” Cat hung up and headed back home to shower and curl up in her bed.

I found out today that you went on a little trip

To somewhere you don't belong...

I want to be your friend, made just a little slip

So I'm taking a little trip of my own

And I'm going to meet you...

I'm going to greet you...

At her back door as you're coming out...

Oh, I just know...

Some days later, Cat was meandering around Central Park with Mac and a bag of peanuts. She sat down on a bench as he went to make a phone call to Breangwen about something. Breangwen placed a call to the Central and they relayed the message to the 5-5 for her and then she called Mac right back. “Cat, he should be on his way. All right? I’m going to be right over there if you need me.” Cat nodded and sat back against the bench. Soon, the RMP pulled up outside the entrance of the park. Bosco and Faith got out, Faith looked at Bosco. “You sure you want to do this alone, Bosco?” Bosco nodded and headed into the park and looked around, spotting Cat on a lonely bench he walked towards it. Her ears perked when she heard approaching footsteps and turned to watch him and then looked away. He stopped at the edge of the bench and watched her. “We need to talk, I suggest you sit down.” He nodded and sat down, watching her. “I’m…not going to even ask how this happened. Nor do I really care and I have no clue as to why in the hell I’m giving you a second chance, okay? But I am and I’m cautiously warning you, that if I find out you did this to me again…I will make you sorry. That’s a promise I plan to keep…now if you have anything to say to me…say it and then go back to work.” Bosco breathed deeply and thought of something to say, “I’m going to do my best…to not hurt you again….because I can only imagine what will happen if I do…” Cat had this ‘you damn right’ look on her face as he spoke. He stood up and gave her a light kiss on the forehead, “I have to get back to work.” He then left to go back to work, Mac took Cat home so she could rest.

I've done everything as you say
I've followed your rules without question
I thought it would help me see things clearly
But instead of helping me to see
I look around and it's like I'm blinded

I'm spinning out of control
Out of control
I'm spinning out of control
Out of control

Where should I go?
What should I do?
I don't understand what you want from me
Cause I don't know
If I can trust you
I don't understand what you want from me

I feel like I'm spinning out of control
Try to focus but everything's twisted
And all alone I thought you would be there
(Thought you would be there)
To let me know I'm not alone
But in fact that's exactly what I was.
