| MOTHERS' DAY |
| There are some Moms, and my mind roams to one ... that when you see them with their children you believe in gentle love again. You believe in unconditional, relentless, have faith in love ~ once more. When children grow up and can say, "You are a great friend to me" and "You've always been a great mom" ... Then you know you have succeeded regardless of all the mistakes that neon in your mind of memory. When you know for a certainty that you are not letting this world have your children's minds, and do all you can to ensure it. Then you have succeeded regardless of the times that seemed cloudy. When you catch your child crying out to God with genuine tears and a plea, "God, Help me understand." Then you know you have planted the right seeds of Who to turn to when life gets too hard or too big or too tough to fight anymore. Regardless of the times they turned their heads or ignored The Call. As a mother, you still hear the whispers of heaven calling their lives; setting them aside for the Masters' use. Go with the whispers, and never neglect the gift that is within you to discern The Way they should go. Train them to hear and obey God by doing it yourself, and don't forget to travel down the least traveled path. Not everybody walks the faith trail, God saved that road for the real seekers. Hang in there Mom, You're doing a great job. I remain, Mary |
