After the Valentine Day of Love, it dawned on me that the celebration of our appreciation, depth of feelings, and choice to exalt one another is not (by far) a one day event, but rather an every day occurrence.  I can't remember the last time a day came and went where I did not actually ponder love in some way.  Some days, it even takes up most of my thoughts.  So today, I would like to talk about one of many ideas that has bewildered me for many years.

                                              "The Eye-Sparkle Phenomenon"

You won't read too much on it, but we all (I hope) have experienced it enough to know what the heck I am talking about.  Its’ presence is hardly mistakable!  Even those on the outside of your precious love can see it.  And when the other is gone...it feels like you are almost dead.

Were you ever In Love?  NOT a superficial question.  I mean, really IN LOVE?  Standing in the place of choice where someone stood before you...that you knew you loved, chose to love, and would continue to love ... regardless of their shortcomings, their failures, their fears, their sin, their mistakes...regardless of anything?  That the light in their eyes and the gleam of their personality, and the way they make you love life would always outweigh anything they could ever do contrary?  I like to look at this love, Gods love, as phenomenon.  Did you know when you love someone with Real Love...that it causes you to love OTHERS even more?  Did you know when you really love someone that you can't help but want to share them with the whole world?  Your life and the doors of your heart are always swinging open when you love.  People come near you and don't know why they want to always be in your presence when you walk in love.  You enjoy every breath all the more, you can have calamity strike you and it's like a menial fly landing on your arm.  Nothing can break through and disrupt the peace that is yours when you have real love.  The love I am talking about is the one that can make you do anything ... climb mountains, swim seas, accomplish anything ... and without fear.  I remember the strength of that love and how it still sparkles even at the thought of the one I love. 

The power of love is the power that the angels fly on.  For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE His only Son; that WHOSOEVER Believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life" ~Bible.  Stronger then gravity's law even ... and what's even better is ...
it is ours.  It is human.  It is God given. 
Gods’ gift to us. 
To share and not hold back.

Now, back to the eye-sparkle phenomenon that I pondered today.  The Lord gave me insight, which is why you now are reading this.  You are privileged to share in the whisper of truth that I sought after and lo and behold it is now yours.  The eye ... the sparkle ... the phenomenon that I am speaking of concerns body, soul, and spirit.  YOUR body, YOUR soul, and YOUR spirit.  The eye is unlike any other organ of the body.  It is actually connected directly to your brain. “It is an extension of your soul" I heard Him say.  An extension of your inner mind.  It doesn't "ask" for permission,  it simply does what it does.  The sparkle of love in your eye shines as you hunger for more ... and give more when love is present.
It is NOT lust.  It is intense passion.  Passion for life, passion for tenderness, passion for understanding, passion for connecting with people.  Passion for Real Love.

You know ~
Passion.
Committed whole heartedly to causes.

Your pupil shrinks when there is light shinning in it, and grows when you want more light (such as in the dark, or when you move through the house when the lights are off).  When you are in Love ... your pupils sometimes grow as you look out at life regardless of the lights degree.  Love does not cater to circumstance or environment  Love REMAINS regardless of obstacles.

When you are in love ... As you look at the one you love or even "think" about 'em - your eyes sparkle.  When you walk in love ... it is unmistakable.  Even strangers can bring about the joy of that sparkle when you are walking in love.  I am not sure why I wanted to share that with you, other then the fact of reminding you; that people can feed off of your loves strength when you choose to allow it.  You can starve those God put in your life, or you can nurture them.  Maybe today I just wanted to share with you the fact that I love you and may you get a glimpse of the sparkle that God put in my hearts eye for you. 

Don't ever neglect the opportunity to share yourself with others.  You were put here for a great purpose and as you seek and then find ~
remember there is nothing better then doing what you were called to do.
