do not fly away from storms like most birds. They fly straight into it.. They thrust their wings straight out.. and BOOM... using the torrent winds .. to rise ABOVE the storm. Up there.. way UP THERE.. way up where Christ is. (in a higher plane of existence) The storm seems so small. Above it all. .. is a great CALM.. a great peace. "They that wait upon the Lord. Shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint." Why? Because we who love the Lord .. have MOUNTED UP. Or .. at least are in the process of mounting I am mounting up. And guess what? ... You are too. deep breath.. heave ... hoe. sigh... breathe.. Dart straight into that storms face. ... Why? so we can find that peace promised from the Prince of Peace. ... To rest in the arms of our savior For He knows the plans that he has for us. "Plans for good.. and not for evil. For a future and a hope." "The name of the Lord is a strong tower The righteous RUN into it and are safe." There is a song I use to sing in churches, It's called, "By My Spirit" I never knew .. all those years ago.. that the Lord would replay .. my own soul's song back on me. I hear it now "its not by might its not by power but by My Spirit says the Lord" HE SAYING... To you today: "I can see your weary and your courage has worn thin but when my love comes in. you'll be strong again." "This mountain shall be removed and I'll build my temple in you" and what I promised shall be done" yet, not by might; nor by power ... By My Spirit.. says the Lord He is near When we draw near. Therefore, draw near. God has been talking most all night. I feel like .. like... He is up to something. Up to something bigger then revealed to me. HE is actually still singing that song in me. In the wee hours of the morning ... that He would even bother with someone such as me; amazing! He is very present. May the Lord bless you and keep you ... and make his face to shine upon you.
