Lust vs. Passion

Lust:

What is Lust?

Lust is wanting something that is not yours

Lust is stepping over the line, a line that God has drawn.

          Lust is looking too long.

Lust is reaching for the wrong purpose.

Lust is putting myself before others.

Lust is wanting to continue after I know I should not.

Lust is wanting more then I can give.

          Lust is not having enough.

Lust is seeing someone differently then I should.

          Lust is wanting, wanting, wanting.

Lust is sensuality out of control.

Unquenchable.

Passion:

What is Passion?

The God given emotion that lives entirely distinguished and separate from reason.
The state of being that causes one to act on ardently.
Driven by the ruling force of the character of heart.
Intense affection, uncontrollable love flares, sensual desire for, or devotion to a mission.
A Zeal, meaning . . .

Intensely compelling fervor and enthusiasm for something or someone.
An emotion so deeply stirring and ungovernable that it flies.

A warm and excited, steady flow of . . . acted on admiration.

Energetic and unending.

Passion is Like, Pursuit --
like an arrow flying towards it's intended goal and dedicated to the cause of love making when it arrives.

Passion . . . God given -- to be shared in the bounds of love.

Uninhibited, unleashed, unashamed, untamed, unimaginable, uncovered.

Wild yet tender.

Quenchable.
