Animal Senses Poem by Matt I see a short black cat in the front yard. I hear a wolf howling in the moonlight. I taste turkey dinner on Thanksgiving night. I smell a dog's bad breath in my home. I feel a rough scaly snack in the Sahara Desert.
	The Sea by John I see, the water in the big blue sea. I hear, the beautiful sounding waves. I smell, the dead fish laying on the shore. I taste, my lunch that I brought to eat on the sand. I feel, the icy cold water.
	Joke by Mitchell You see the picture in your mind. You hear what's happening in the funny joke. You smell the joke here in your mind. You feel you are the person in the joke.
	Wood by Al Wood is made of trees. Lots and lots of things are made out of wood.
	Yellow Dogs by Katherine I see the yellowish goldish dogs on a book cover playing ball. I hear the dogs barking playfully. I taste the dog's buttery yellow chew toy. I smell the dog's banana ice cream breath. I feel the dog's red, soft, and warm tongue licking my hand.
	Winter by Thomas Fresh white snow with animals down below and kids up on the and bunnies that can hop. With people that can play every single day. When plants are dying on the other side of the world, the sun is frying everywhere, on this side hibernating the big black bear.
	Lake by Danny L is for lilacs that grow in the spring. A is for apples that grow in the warmth of spring. K is for kiwi a good fruit for spring. E is for every flower that grows in the spring.
	Outside in Spring by Charlie Seeing daffodils grow in your yard. Playing baseball outside. Running outside in the wind. Irises growing in your yard. Nasturtiums growing outside. Growing plants in the spring.
	Lake by Brandon In the lake I see blue water, white foam, and people. I hear waves splashing and people too. I taste salty water. I smell air and fish. I feel water and foam too.

E is for being eager for spring to come. A is for always catching butterflies. U is for unbelievable sights outside. T is for trying to look at a rabbit. I is for imaging a bird. F is for telling funny jokes about spring. U is for an Ultra Girl tomato plant. L is for laying in the ticklish grass.
	Holiday by Vreonna Decorations on houses. You hear bells on Santa's deer. I see Christmas trees up already. Oh, no, Christmas is here.
	Pencil by Rebecca In the warm summer days my pencil helps me think and brainstorm lots of interesting things. I like my eraser tapping against my head helping me think all day. I like the stripes on my pencil helping me visualize all day. I love my pencil.
	Fall by Trina In Fall I see colorful leaves falling, red, orange, yellow, gold, brown. I see apples deep red and ripe and ready to be eaten. In Fall I hear wind whistling shrilly, leaves blowing and crackling under my feet as I walk. I smell the sweet scent of ripe apples and the wonderful smell of turkey in the oven. I feel the wind softly and lightly blowing on my warm cheeks. I taste delicious juicy seet apples as I bite into mine.
	Spring by Andy See the flowers in the yard. Hear the birds cheeping out loud. Taste the apples from the trees. Smell the breeze in the air. Touch the leaves on the trees.
	Shells by Rita We see seashells on the beach. We hear shells when you put two together. We cannot taste it because it will not be right. We can smell it but it will not smell like anything much. We can feel it but it might feel hard and it might hurt.
	Red Roses by Zoe I like red roses. I like red roses in the spring. I will plant red roses in June.
