How many Richards students have pets?
We discovered that out of 392 students who participated in the census, 254 have pets. Approximately 65% of the students surveyed have pets at home.

What is the most common pet at Richards?
Out of the 392 students surveyed at Richards School, fish were the most common pet. Students reported having 472 fish in all.

Are different pets more common at different grades?
At first grade, dogs were most common. At second grade, fish were the most common, At third grade, fish were most common. At fourth grade, fish were most common. At fifth grade, fish were most common. In four out of five grades survey, fish were most common.

How many Richards students have unusual or exotic pets at Richards?
We found that three students had unusual or exotic pets. One of the fifth graders reported having two hermit crabs. One second grader also has a hermit crab.

How many Richards students have "regular" pets?
Our data did not give us the answer to this question.

How many Richards students have several different pets?
Our data did not give us the answer to this question.

How many pets do Richards students have in all?
We added the totals for all of the pet categories and found that the 392 students surveyed have a total of 980 pets in all. Wow!!!
