Chapter 1 by Jessica and Stella Flat Alex held a door open but fell and then slid under the door. Flat Alex wore a flat backpack with things to help him because it helped him be stronger. He couldn't stand up to wash his hands because he could not turn on the water. Flat Alex got help from his teacher and his teacher turned on the water for him. He got on the sink but slipped so one of his shoes went down the drain. Flat Alex had to put on a doll's shoe for the rest of the afternoon.
