Schoolhouse Park burned down in 1918. Sparks from a nearby train flew onto the roof, causing the fire. It opened on February 28, 1893, and was called the Fleetwood School. Schoolhouse Park is the place where the first school in Whitefish Bay was built. The fountain was a gift from Mrs. Dorothy Inbush, built in 1980.
