Expectations

                                                  Student Expectations
                          "Kind actions begin with kind thoughts."

     The following are several important expectations that I have for my students.

    1. We must work together if you are to pass 7th Grade Social Studies and
       enjoy the process. I will grade assignments once or twice each week.
       I will record your assignment grades in your Notebook and in my gradebook.

    2. It is up to you to bring your plastic pouch with pens, pencils, colored pencils,
       small scissors, and pencil sharpener to class every day. You are to bring
       your Notebook to class each and every day.

    3. It is up to you to complete all daily assignments on time. On certain
       assignments you can possibly receive up to a 70 if it is late, and on others the
       highest grade you can possibly receive is a 50. I will tell you ahead of time
       which late grade applies. I will not take homework if it is late, unless you
       were absent on the day it was assigned. (Homework is 10% of your grade.)

    4. If you are absent, you are expected to find out what work you missed
       and make up the work in a timely manner.

    5. I believe that if we all strive to live up to the Manor Middle School
       P.R.I.D.E. expectations, we will enjoy this year and learn a few things
       in the process.

                    The new Middle School is awesome and students are doing
                              a wonderful job in keeping it neat and clean.
