Heartbroken
They're lying there , motionless on the ground,
the heartbroken people-starting to crowd,
mourning all day for their special friends,
their sadness seems to have no end,
The vet has gone , and as he went,
left his words with us,
"I'm sorry , they're dead
I know you are up there and I want you to know,
that I still miss you , and will always love you so.
Dedicated in loving memory to Tango and Chunky,
who were killed on November 29th 1996
