Hi! My name is Mary Catherine Champeaux.
I am a sophomore at University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
I am currently majoring in nursing
and enjoy it very much. I would love very much to become
a nurse and work in a hospital
because I love to help people.
There are many things that I enjoy doing in life and some
of them are shopping, vacationing, and
spending as much time with my little boy, Andrew,
as possible.
Although I do enjoy coming to school at ULL, I am transferring
to Louisiana State University in a year.
I am going to major in General Studies at LSU.
After school at LSU I plan to go to a two year nursing
program at Our Lady of the Lake hospital in Baton Rouge.
There I will become a registered nurse and
hopefully get a job working in the pediatric oncology
department.
My goals in life are:
Like most people, there are many things
that I enjoy doing in my spare time. As I mentioned
earlier,
I have a one year old son that I love more than life itself. His name is Andrew and my passion in life
is being with him as much as I can. Besides being
with Andrew all of the time, there is another love
in my life and his name is Kory Hebert. He is
Andrew's father and my soon to be
husband (isn't that crazy!) . Kory lives in Baton
Rouge right now because he plays football for
Louisiana State University (LSU). On May 28, 2004
we will be getting married and a few months
after that we are all going to be moving to Baton
Rouge.
Other than the two men in my life, I
have a few more things that I enjoy. I love to spend
time with
my family. I have one brother named Chris and he is 23 years old.
My parents live in St.Martinville,
Louisiana and I go visit them a lot (especially now that my
mother and I have a wedding to plan.
My friends are a major part of my life
and I try to get together with them as often as possible.
Growing up I was not too close to my cousins so I compensated
this fact by getting close to my
friends. My closest friends are Erinn Sonnier,
Nick Landry, Caroline DeMahy, and others. My best
friend, Monique Trahan died on August 22, 2003 and this is the hardest
thing that will ever happen to
me. I love my friends dearly and thanks to them
I had a wonderful time growing up.
Other things that I enjoy doing
in life include shopping and the summer job that I have. These
