This year was full of fun times in the field with the terriers.
Button Top Stinger earned her JRTCA Bronze Medallion on a magical January day!
January 2002 - Fox Hunting 2002 (Chased a few Groundhog and got a "Slow Fox")
January 27, 2002 - Stinger NHC to Opossum / Stinger earns Bronze Medallion!
February 16, 2002 - Bang bolts a Groundhog
February 17, 2002 - Stinger & Bang work a groundhog. Also, Mash & Tucker found us a skunk to get rid of!
February 23, 2002 - Isaac & Tucker worked two groundhog.
February 24, 2002 - Bang works another groundhog. She dug this one out! Isaac got himself one on the way back to the truck. Tucker & Mash chased one that got away.
February 27, 2002 - Bang earns her NHC to opossum! She also did a fine job working a groundhog in another sette. Stinger found us a skunk which we dispatched.
April 4, 2002 to April 9, 2002 - Took Miss Bang to Harrisonville, Missouri to try and finish her Bronze on a Raccoon. She decided instead to show off her skills in working groundhog and opossum!!
June 7, 2002 to June 9, 2002 - West Virginia hunting groundhog with Tucker, Crash, Mattie, Snap, Bang, & Mash.
June 19, 2002 - "One Hog, One Dog" with Stinger and Crash.
July 1, 2002 & July 2, 2002 - Hunting in Kingsport, TN with some pals we met at the Heartland JRT show in March! VERY hot!!
August 2002 - There was NO hunting this August in Tennessee...we had hardly any rain which made the ground virtually impossible to dig!!
September 27, 2002 - Crash, Tucker, & Bang – Bang worked a GROUNDHOG @ Mr. Sampson’s and a SKUNK @ Mr. Lambert’s...just gorgeous...first hole of the day had a dog baying (yay b-Bang!)
September 28, 2002 - Crash, Tucker, Stinger, Snap, Mash, Sprite...Smoky Mountain Sprite earns her NHC to GROUNDHOG and then there was a collective GROUNDHOG at Jill Taylor’s!
October 6, 2002 - Congratulations to Sweetie-Pie for earning her NHC to Opossum!!
October 12, 2002 - A quick trip to West Virginia with Crash and Tucker who shared in working two HUGE groundhogs!
October 25, 2002 - West Virginia hunt getting two younger dogs started...
October 26, 2002 - Congratulations to Rane & Bill Sessions with their JRT Parker for earning her NHC to GROUNDHOG!!
October 27, 2002 - Schooling of some younger terriers and LOTS of fun in the field!!
November 2, 2002 - Isaac and Mattie checked settes and got into a skunk...then Stinger & Mash hunted awhile and they too got skunked!! We decided to call it a day!!
November 3, 2002 Stinger, Mash, & Tucker - Mash worked a groundhog!! YAY to Mr. Mash!!!
November 10, 2002 - Jeff came over from Kingsport and we got into a groundhog and a skunk!
November 13, 2002 - We met Jeff HALFWAY and then went to Virginia to chase some hogs with Crash, Bang, Tucker, Pounce, and Ripper!
November 15, 2002 - Tucker & Crash in the kudzu for a little fun before our trip towards Memphis!
November 18, 2002 - Congratulations to BrownDog for earning his NHC to Raccoon!!!! YAY Shirley!! We also got into a opossum!
Thanksgiving 2002 Hunt - Congratulations to Eli and Beth for their NHCs to Opossum! Mister Credo did a fabulous job on his Stinky in the Big Stinky dig.
