Prayerful Thoughts When I bend my knees to pray, and I bow my head... The LORD fills me with wonder and peace. When praises drop from my lips, and I cannot help but sing... HE fills me with joy unspeakable. When I feel HIS strength within... HE is touching me. HE hears my every prayer. He dries my every tear. Oh JESUS, You are so wonderful. So powerful. So gentle and strong and true. Let me feel YOUR nearness day by day. Make me, LORD, like YOU.
Prayer Poem Dear Lord, I ache for You. You are the only reason I can smile. You are the only One I want. You have done so much for me. I owe You all my love, and time. Lord Jesus, Come and listen. Listen to my heart. Hear it yearn for Your words, your whims, your commands. I want, I need to be like You. Teach me in Your ways, Lord Jesus. I know You hear my prayer. Cast away the bad stuff, and make me like You. And my devotion will spring up as a flower. A rose in bloom am I. Let your Light shine in the darkness, O Lord. Let it shine through me. I love You. Amen.
Resolution LORD MY GOD, Make me a new creation in You.  Change my heart.  Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Cause me to want to imitate Your precious Son.  Make me do what's right, and fair. Cleanse my soul from all filthiness.  Expose all sin in my life. I REPENT OF MY SINS, I RESOLVE TO CHANGE MY WAYS. I HAVE BEEN REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS. Thank You Lord.
Song of Praise Lift up your hands and raise your voice. Sing to the Lord and rejoice. Praise Him on high, for He is King. Creator, Ruler of everything. Jesus! Jesus! You are Holy. You are wonderful and strong. Mighty Warrior, Prince of Peace! We will praise You all day long. Sing unto Him Who brings forth life. Sing to Him Who calms the seas. Sing praise to God our mighty Savior. For He hears and is well pleased. Sing Hallelujah to the Lamb. Sing praise and glory to the great I AM.
Song of Repentance When I stray, I cannot be without You. When I fall, Your arms are ever near. I am sorry, Lord of everlasting, To have turned away. Forgive me, Father, make me clean in Your sight. Chasten me, Your love can't be denied. Make me like Your Son Who's full of glory. Make me whole again.
Sunset  Sitting on the grass, I look up at the sky. The feel of the grass is comforting. My hands gently caress the blades. The sun sets in its colors of orange, purple and blue. White foamy clouds pass by and change form. Stripes and streaks and waves of white among orange and violet. Birds fly high overhead. A butterfly lands on a nearby bloom. The wind freshens. I lay back, and am dizzied by the heights. I close my eyes. Listen to the wind whisper past my ears. Birds call to one another. An earthy smell touches my nose. I feel peaceful, and strong. I listen for the sound of His sweet, gentle voice. I hear the wind. Trees rustle. Grass sways. The very air is alive. I sense His presence beside me. I can almost feel His hands. The very hands which created this grass, this air, those clouds. His eyes smile. He is pleased. I want to fall asleep in His arms. Then the wind blows, and I arise. The sky darkens. I can see a star in the east. I feel strengthened. So alive. I whisper a silent thank you to Jesus. And I sing His praises all the way home.
The Power of One The power of One. The one true God. He is everlasting. He is Lord. He is mighty and just. He is Lord of all things. God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for this world. So many reject Him. So few are redeemed. We are sinners by birth, from the cradle to the grave. We all need a Savior, else we live life in vain. So come now, my brother, why do you sleep? Why do you think, "It won't happen to me." Oh, hurry to Jesus, for He cometh soon. He knows you from when time began. He wants you to believe. The power of One. The one true God. Cast your life at His feet, Your sins to His cross. Do not tarry much longer. It will not be long till you see Him arrive. And if you do, then you will be saved, if you believe. Saved, by the power of One.
There IS Jesus! Sometimes I feel so lonely... Like no one really cares. No matter how I seem to try... A smile I cannot wear. The only thing that's on my face, Are tears, coursing down, The world, it seems so cruel, so cold... All I can do is frown. But then I see JESUS! I hear His sweet voice. I feel his tender arms around me in my sadness, and I rejoice. I feel His gentle fingers wiping 'way the sweat on my hot brow. And in His presence, there is peace. I love You, my Lord. Sometimes I see the sadness... That human hearts can show. There is the darkness of the storm, But no follow'ing rainbow. The only thing they have is grief. No hope or love at all... The world, it needs a Savior. They need to hear His call. But then, there is JESUS! The darkness is gone! He brings His love to all who seek Him, and they can go on. The clouds are lifted far away, the darkness gone and nevermore... And in His presence there is peace. We need You, O Lord.
What Can I Do, Lord? What can I say to tell You how much I love You, Lord? What can I do to show You I care? "Feed the hungry. Satisfy the thirsty. Heal the sick. Cast out demons. Visit the prison-bound. Give your last dollar to the one who needs it most. Spread the Word about My salvation. "I AM in the hungry, for I AM the Bread of Life. Because I feed you.  I AM in the thirsty, for I AM Living Water. Because I bring water from the Rock.I AM in the sick, for I AM the Great Physician. Because I AM your Healer. I AM in the trials, for I AM the Giver of peace. Because I calm the storms. I AM in the prison, for I set the captives free. Because I have the keys to hell and death. I AM in the poor, for I AM your Provider. Because I perform miracles. I AM in the lost, for I AM your Redeemer. Because I died for your sins. I gave My life, for I AM the Savior,  So that you might live forever." Thank You for being You, Lord Jesus.
