By the time I started this piece, I had received some coaching on my calligraphy from Mistress Katherine. The Insular Majuscule font was copied from the Midrealm Scribal Handbook. The calligraphy is less slanted and more consistent than on previous efforts.
The illumination, yet to be painted, matches the font and the time period of the text.
