| The dragon in this design was based on a cross-stitch design in a public domain posting on the web. It was modified to create a blackwork cartoon. The border was then added, along with the lettering. Please be creative in making your own modifications. Choose filling patterns to create your own scaly beast! For my stitched version, I used this outline stitched over two threads, then stitched the filling patterns over one thread, for a delicate filling, and to show more detail.
