This piece was done for practice, and as part of the Midrealm Scribal Challenge.
Religion was a central part of life during the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Due to modern sensibilities, however, religious expression in the SCA is strictly limited, lest we offend someone. But these timeless words of comfort were as worthy as any other piece of literature for the illuminator's hand. And, as it would be in period, the word "Lord" would be highlighted in the piece.
