Dear Adam, Thank you for your Christmas wishes! I got out of the hospital on Monday this week and feel much better. Sadly, I lost 8 of my toes to the  frostbite and the doctor says I'll never play the fiddle again, but I'm  glad to be alive! Thank-you for your prayering. Also it was quite  wonderful to see how my hometown rallied after the avalanche. They raised 1.3 million dollars to rebuild Tim Hortons, and $732.59 to help with my medical bills and replace my ski-do. Doesn't that just warm the  cockles or your heart eh? I couldn't believe it when Big Bobby told me that you had stopped  contacting him and lost interest in his beloved Tropical Hockey League  plans. He had been so excited that you seemed interested and it really  crushed him when you backed down from your word. He almost lost the  sponsorship money but I think he said he found some other young men in  Nigeria who were quite interested. He's hoping they will have a team  picture for him by the end of next week so that the Sponsor money can be secured.  I don't know how I feel about you right now Adam. When I had my  accident I had been transferring the money to you and it's still tied up  in the WU system until I decide what to do. I'm sure you can understand that since you hurt my dear friend Big Bobby I'm a little leary of  helping you now. I don't know what it's like in Africa but around here  we all help each other out eh? Hey, Big Adam! Sorry that I haven't been responding as quickly as you might hope.  Winter has really hit here, and for some of us it is a daily struggle  for survival. A little problem - I'm trying to send you the shirts, but the couriers (DHL) want an actual street address. I managed to convince them that they  didn't require a photo ID from you for the shipment, but couldn't make  them budge on the address. Apparently they aren't willing to just go  with sending it to a depot in Benin. Anyway, I have a bundle of 20 shirts waiting to be sent out to you, eh? They are charging me a huge sum of money for this to be sent out by  air, but there's no way I'm going to stick the crate on a ship. They mentioned there is a DHL office in Abidjan that I could send items  to, so we might have to go that route. Let me know if this is all right, eh? Yours, Big Bobby ps.
