| A Funny thing happened when Marvin went to listen to Ms Causey talk about being a writer, and about her book, "Bobbie Faye's Very, Very, Very, Very Bad Day". When I went to take her picture with Marvin, my camera reported to me that my batteries were in fact dead. What would normally have turned into a failed opportunity was saved by Ms Causey herself, who lended me her cell phone to take the picture with. She then e-mailed it to Marvin so that I can post it here! | |||||||||||||||||||||||
| Without a doubt Ms Causey is blessed. Very few first-time authors get the breaks she's had with Bobbie Faye, but then she's not your typical author! She hails from Baton Rouge where she lives with husband and two sons. On the side she and her husband owns a civil construction company to help support her writing addiction. I have had the pleasure to exchange e-mails with Ms Causey and we discussed maybe slipping him into one of her future stories (Marvin the Waiter perhaps?
