History: Scott was born with a brother Alex to Katherine and Christopher Summers. In a family flight a Shi'ar cruiser came. The plane was shot down and as it was falling, Scott's dad strapped Scott and Alex in a parachute and launched them out. As they were falling the plane exploded. Alex and Scott almost died on the fall, but were saved by Scott's new power. Scott used his power on occasion, causing him to be thought a threat. As the army was trying to capture Scott, he was taken by Diamond Jack who used Scott's powers for crime. Xavier saved Scott and Scott joined Xavier. Scott then helped Xavier form a team called the X-Men.

History: Warren Worthington III entered Xavier’s School as a happy go lucky Angel gifted with fluffy white wings and a great personality. When the new X-Men formed, he left the team, passing through as amember of the Champions, Defenders, Hellfire Club and the evil Horsemen of Apocolypse. Apocolypse had captured Angel and had replaced Warren's wing with razor sharp metal wings that shot razor sharp projectiles. This is when he became a member of the Horsemen. Helater escaped Apocolypse and joined the X-factor and was renamed Arcangel. Arcangel later formed the X-men team Gold when X-Force and the X-Men merged. Sometime after Angel's wings returned and the metal replacements were gone. Warren met Psylocke of the X-men and he fell in love with her. Him and Psylocke have recently left the X-men but Psylocke returned and he didn't.

History: Bobby Drake discovered his mutant power to create ice while he was a teenager. He kept it a secret from everyone except his parents. One night, Drake and his girlfriend Judy Harmon were attacked by a bully named Rocky Beasely and his friends. To save Judy, Drake temporarily encased Beasely in ice. Professor Charles Xavier learned what had happened and sent Cyclops, his only X-Man at that time, to contact Drake. The grateful Bobby Drake then accepted Xavier's invitation to join the X-Men and took the code name Iceman. He was the youngest of the original five X-Men. Years later, Xavier had recruited a new group of X-men. Iceman and other old X-Men quit the team. Iceman and the other original members of the X-Men then founded a new team based in New York City. This was the original version of X-Factor. Later on the X-men and the X-Factor merged forming X-men Blue Team and the X-men Gold Team which Ice man was apart of of. Mr.Marko beat Xavier's mother on a regular basis, and when trying to confort her, Charles began to manifest his mutant power to enter her mind and calm her down. later on in Israel he met Erik Magnus Lensherr (Magneto) and they became became best friends and Charles explained to him his dream of mutant and human coexistence. He had a love affair with a woman Gabrielle Haller and they had a child named David Haller also known as Legion. Not knowing of Gabrielle's pregnancy, Charles left her and went back to America, where he suffered an attack of the alien Lucifer, who put him into the famous wheelchair. Logan was also a member of CIA, working with Maverick and Sabretooth. Wolverine natural healing abilities helped his survive the top secret Weapon X project, which gave him an unbreakable skeleton made of adamantium, Razor sharp adamantium claws, a fast healing factor and an ehanced sense of smell. Wolverine was just one of the mutants that were a part of the Weapon X program. Other mutants were Sabertooth(Creed), Maverick and Silver Fox. the Weapon X program was beleived to be led by the father of Lady Death Strike (Mariko), Wolverine's ex-wife. Iceman, the one X-Man left to do anything (Cyclops, Jean, Wolverine, Cannonball and Storm were captured while Beast, Joseph, Bishop, Gambit, and Rouge were in the Antarctic after returning from space), saved her. The two spent the next few days avoiding Sentinels and eventualy were joined by Marrow and Sabra. Together, they rescued Detective Jones's son from Bastion, and with S.H.I.E.L.D.s help, they shut captured Bastion. When they returned to the X-Mansion, Dr.Reyes helped in removing a bomb from Cyclops' chest. Dr. Reyes didn't appear to want to stay on the team, but her little "crush" on Beast and the fact that she believes she's needed by these people has made her opt to stay. Mutant Abilities: Colossus is a mutant with the superhuman ability to convert the tissue of his entire body into an organic steel-like substance, granting him superhuman strength and a high degree of resistance to bodily harm. This substance, resembling organic steel, is of unknown composition but appears to be analogous to osmium and to carbon steel. He is able to transform into this armor-like state at will (the process is virtually instantaneous) and remain in that form for an as yet undetermined amount of time. (The longest time he has remained in armored form so far has been five days). Once in his armored form he remains so until he consciously wills himself back to normal. If he is rendered unconscious, however, he spontaneously reverts to his normal form. While in his armored state, Colossus possesses the same degree of mobility that he does in his normal form.

Katherine "Kitty" Pryde was a thirteen year old girl living in Deerfield, Illinois who led a normal life but then began suffering headaches of great duration and intensity. Unknown to her or her parents, the headaches were a result of her mutant power emerging. Professor Charles Xavier, founder of the X-Men, a team of mutant adventurers whom he trained in the use of their superhuman powers, located Kitty with his device for finding superhuman mutants, Cerebro. He and three of the X-Men, Colossus, Storm, and Wolverine, set out for Deerfield to contact her and possibly recruit her as a member of the X-Men. Kitty quickly became a valuable member of the X-Men, so much so that Xavier retained her in the X-Men even after founding a new team, the New Mutants, most of whose members were closer to Kitty in age than the other X-Men were. He was saved by Charles Xavier, who was forming the New X-Men.He joined the team. When Storm lost her powers, Kurt was designed the leader of the X-Men.. He just left when was severely injured in a battle against the Marauders. forming the Excalibur, after his fellow X-Men "died" in Texas. He stayed with the team, and came to lead it. Kurt was a brilliant leader and friend, making him one of the greatest assets to Excalibur.Excalibur later disbanded and him , with Colossus and Kitty, returned to the X-Men.

History: Samuel Guthrie was born on a farm in Kentucky. Sam began to work a coal mine after his father had died to help his family. One day, the mine collapsed with him inside, triggering the first use of his powers. As one of Professor X's New Mutants and later a member of the X-Force, Cannonball learned to control his powers by the tutelage of Xavier, Magneto and Cable. When Cable took care of the team the X-men, he transformed them into the X-Force and Cannonball became his second in command and quickly fell in love with Tabitha Smith (Meltdown). He later left the team to treat an ill mother and since he has returned to the group.

History: Alex and Scott Summers were orphaned at an early age due to an airplane accident. Alex was adopted quickly unlike Scott. When he grew up, Alex studied geology, and never took up the super-hero mantle until he was kidnapped by the Living Pharaoh, for his mutant powers.He was rescued by the X-Men. Alex met Polaris and fell in love with her and retired as a superhero. During the Mutant Massacre, Polaris was possessed by Malice and Havok became an X-Man until the team journeyed through the Siege Perilous, after which a amnesiatic Havok, became a Genoshian Magistrate. An encounter with Cyclops during the X-Tinction Agenda caused his memory to come back, and he became the X-Factor team leader until the death of Multiple Man. Havok was possessed by Malice until freed by, Mr Sinister. Havok started having problems controlling his mutant powers, and was captured by Random. He was brainwashed and had his powers boosted by McCoy.. Recently, he confronted X-Factor and severely injured Polaris. After a confrontation with Cyclops, he joined the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants. It has been recently revealed that he was actually pretending to be evil, and he has returned to X-Factor and has since disappeared in another dimension beleived to be dead.

Mutant Powers: Polaris has the ability to manipulate magnetism. Although she has the potential to use her powers in all the ways that Magneto does, her powers are not as strong as Magneto's. It should be noted though, that she has not trained in the use of her powers as much as Magneto. Polaris can levitate metallic objects or create force fields to suspend people or objects or to prevent them from harm. She can also overload or short-circuit electrical circuits. With concentration, she can perceive the world around her in terms of magnetic and electrical auras. She can also use this ability to identify people by their magnetic auras.
History: Polaris enterd the X-Men with her boyfriend Havok when the team was in it's first formation. .When the X-Men were kidnapped by Krakoa and later saved by the New X-Men, Polaris and Havok left the team. Polaris was later possessed by Malice, one of Sinister´s Marauders, and became a X-Foe. Malice later was removed from her host and Polaris then joined the X-Factor and remained there for a long time.
