Attitude The Longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company a church a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past we cannot change the fact that people act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one thing we have, and that is our attitude I am convinced that life is 10% of what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you we are in charge of our ATTITUDES. Charles Swindoll
WHAT IS SUCCESS?
To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty; To find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived; This is to have succeeded. Ralph Waldo Emerson
STATE OF MIND
If you think you are beaten, you are; If you think you dare not, you don't! If you'd like to win, but you think you can't, It's almost certain you won't. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you think you'll lose, you're lost; For out in the world we find Success begins with a fellow's will; It's all in the state of mind! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you think you're outclassed, you are; You've got to think high to rise. You've got to be sure of yourself Before you 'll ever win the prize. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Life's battles don't always go To the stronger or faster man; But sooner or later the man who wins Is the person who thinks he can! -- Author Unknown
| Do not stand at my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamong glint on the snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the autumn rain. When you awake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifiting rush of birds circling in flight I am the stars that shine at night. Do not stand on my grave and weep. I am not there. I do not sleep.
