The kiss

If ever I've been kissed before
I did not feel the same
Your energy reflecting
In each and every vein

Your lips sealed into perfection
Your hands soft and warm
Serenity is my jurisdiction
Compassion the moulded form

I am totally faint
My legs quivering with joy
My heart slowing down
Like an unwinding toy

For you have kissed me
The very best way
You have touched me
On this day

Nothing will be the same
Your kiss will be felt again.
