With them our love for each other we can express,
They are even useful in times of stress.
To hold and caress our loved one's body,
To stroke and touch now that's not shoddy.
We use them to eat and when we drink,
We even use them when we think.
When we laugh when we cry,
We even use them to dry an eye.
To hold a pen a letter to write,
To teach the difference between wrong and right.
Around the world in many lands,
What would happen without hands.
