These teas have been used in China for centuries as delicious beverages for improving health. They are not for diagnosing, treating or curing any disease.
Reishi Tea
The book Reishi Mushrooms, by Terry Willard, states that Reishi disrupts viral disease, kills bacteria, enhances immunity, is officially listed as a cancer treatment by the Japanese government, reduces blood fat levels, including "bad" cholesterol, helps the heart, lowers high blood pressure, inhibits platelet aggregation, has a calming effect, contributes to pain relief, alleviates allergies and food sensitivities, relieves chronic bronchitis, acts as an anti-oxidant, helps regenerate the liver, relieves insomnia, helps stress-induced tension, myasthenia gravis and muscular distrophy, oxygenates the blood to alleviate elevation sickness and helps asthma.
Cost: These teas are made from pure, wild Reishii mushrooms. Supplies for 1, 2 or 3 months are $90, $160, $225, respectively.
Pang Da Hai (Sterculia) Tea
In China, singers, public speakers and teachers use this tea for alleviating hoarseness, loss of voice and other throat problems resulting from overuse of the voice.
Cost: Supplies for 1, 2,or 3 months are $20, $35, $45, respectively.
