Frederick Loring came to the US with Count de Grasse and French Forceshelping in the Revolut ionary War. He was a bugler player at the Battleof Yorktown where the English forces were de feated. He also fought inthe War of 1812 under Major Clarkson, he fought at the battle of Ri verRaisin in Kentucky
