Charles Allred was born in Vernal, Utah in 1969. He grew up on a small horse and livestock farm near Rangely, Colorado in the heart of deer and elk country. �Chuck� has always had a love of art and outdoors. He began to develop his skills as an artist while in elementary school and continued drawing and sculpting his way through college. He attended Ricks College (now know as BYU-Idaho) and received an Associates Degree in Fine Arts. He continued his education at BYU where he completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in ceramics. He moved back to Colorado in 1994, and began teaching ceramics/sculpture classes at Colorado Northwestern Community College. His time in the outdoors further enhanced his art. As an avid archery hunter and part-time big game guide, �Chuck� has many opportunities to study his subjects live and up close. He has pottery, drawings, paintings, and sculptures across the U.S. |
