All About Our Drama Clubs!

The MAGOWAN DRAMA CLUB is open to all fourth graders, with a limit of 30 students(first 30 permission slips received). The club meets on Wednesdays from 3:00P.M. to 4:00 P.M. in the school auditorium. It is necessary that students have a ride home at 4:00, as there is no bus at that time. Students are NOT permitted to walk home unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.Drama Club members learn how to "become" a character by finding out about body language, voice control and general stage presence. A play is presented in the spring.

This year, the Magowan Drama Club will present "A Night Of Folklore and Fairy Tales" in late May. Over at Ridgway, the RIDGWAY STAGECRAFTERS are getting ready to hold auditions for their late Spring performance, "Our Town", by Thornton Wilder.This is a wonderful 3-act play that will be performed on two consecutive evenings in the school auditorium--see the Ridgway "activities" page for updated information!
