Yesterday, 7th of Oct. 2000: Maiden flight (for me, not for the Heli).
After some problems with the Engine (new ignition system) I found the courage on this cold, clear autumn day at our field in Cologne-Wahn. And she flys beautifully! It is quite a different feeling to control such a heavy, slow heli. Very smooth. You cannot help but fly it scale.
After a few adjustments I think I have optimized the throttle curve and the tail rotor. Now I will have to practice a little (a lot!)... |

Gestern am 07.10.2000: Erstflug (f�r mich, nicht f�r den Heli). Nach einigen Problemen mit dem Motor - neue Z�ndspule - habe ich an einem sch�nen Herbstsamstag, klar und kalt, den Mut gefunden. Und: Sie fliegt!! Und wie! Es ist wirklich ein ganz anderes Gef�hl, einen solchen schweren, tr�gen Hubi zu steuern. Man kann sie fast nicht anders, als Scale fliegen. Butterweich!
Nach einigen Einstellungen stimmt jetzt auch die Throttle-Kurve und das Heck. Jetzt mu� ich noch ein bischen (viel) �ben... |
