Timeless Lord,
Do not let my ambitions for
this New Year
blind me to your wider horizons,
Do not let my timidity
create boundaries and pretend they are yours.
Make me aware of
your companionship on this new journey,
So that together we may build
what you have planned,
And grow closer
through whatever happens.
