Motto for 2003
"No Compromise"
|
Our local
Christian connections
We are one
of 8 churches who serve Clifton Estate and collectively
wish to reach out, serve and minister to the people of Clifton.
We are a part of Churches Together for Clifton and have
links with the
Chaplains at the University
campus, next to our estate.
|
Our
national Christian connections
We are
a member of the Evangelical
Alliance and the East Midlands Baptists.
There are regular opportunities for worship with other
churches in the midlands areas.
|
Our
international Christian connections
D &
F are preparing for their move to the Middle East in support of the growing
Church there.
We were
to employ a young middle eastern couple to work for the Church in
Clifton. But an unfair visa system run by the UK foreign service
in their country prevented this. We are now trying and praying to change
the system, so that no other church will have to go through what we have.
Our efforts our now backed our local MP.
We are also
concerned with, pray for and support some middle eastern churches
as they work towards legal status and recognition by their governments.

to be alone with God when the main hall is too noisy!

Meet at the church at 7:30pm on Wednesday.

Thought for the month
Make "every
effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There
is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of
your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all
who is above all and through all and in all." (Ephesians 4:4)
