Well, seeing as I should keep up with the Joneses, in this case Jeremy, I think I will do my best to make this journal a daily dicipline.

But I don�t just want to talk about nothing here in cyberspace, where no one will find it�so I�ll try to make it meaningful.

Well, I�m very into HTML and I feel like a amateur genius now. I�m starting to get such a big head that I�m going back and revising all my old pages by hand. So, now I�m a snob I guess...sheesh! What has happened to me! I need to make more friends off-line before I get sucked into this world for good!

Faith

This morning I was reading in my Mark Bible Study about how much Jesus loves our faith. Again and again He spoke of our faith in the Bible. Again and again He looks for it in our lives. It�s such a mysterious quality. It�s not something that we can create ourselves, but is worked in us by God�s hand and God�s circumstances. True faith is acquired by trial, and without testing, our faith would fall flat. Each trial is like a wave of strengthening grace that washes over us and builds us up again and again. When we walk away from it, we are different. We are stronger.

Psalm 71:20
Though you have made me see troubles,
many and bitter, you will restore my life again;
from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.

Hmm, there seems to be a repetitious element to this entry. I think that reflects the repeating quality of grace upon us as we seek our God in faith.
