Wedge Antilles was born on the planet Corellia. He spent much of his childhood helping his parents on a fueling station they owned. There Wedge learned about starship systems, and he also got a alot of his piloting skills there. His parents were killed when the fueling station caught on fire due to pirates not unhooking their refueling couplings before trying to escape the authorites.. Wedge happened to be with Booster Terrik at the time and was not injured. After destroying the pirates who caused the death of his parents Wedge became a smuggler due to lack of funding. Not getting very far in the smuggling business Wedge decided to join the Alliance. He ran numberous reconnaissance and escort missions before he was selected to be one of the pilots for Red Squadron in the Battle of Yavin. After the Battle of Yavin Wedge's abilites as a pilot increased and he was later named leader of Rogue Squadron after Luke Skywalkers retirement from the squadron. During rhis time as the leader of Rogue Squadron Wedge helped to destroy the Second Death Star with Lando Calrissian. He continued to be Rogue Leader throughout the Battle of Bakura, the battle against Ysanne Isard, Warlord Zjing, and Grand Admiral Thrawn. Wedge along with Rogue Squadron and a few friends(Iella Wessiri and Mirax Terrik) help to liberate Coruscant from Imperial control. After liberating Coruscant Wedge and Rogue Squadron defeat Ysanne Isard. During the battles against Zjing Wedge developed the idea of Wraith Squadron which was successfully created into an infiltration/starfighter unit. A year before the defeat of Thrawn Wedge was promoted to the rank of General. Later when the Emperor's Clone appeared he was put in charge of two Star Destroyers Emancipator and Liberator with the aide of Lando Calrissian. He fought valiantly at Coruscant and Clamari, but the Emancipator was destroyed at Mon Calamari. After the end of the threat of the Cloned Emperor Wedge returned to Coruscant where he was put in charge of the clean up of the planet after it's near destruction. After that assignment Wedge was placed in charge of Dt. Qwi-Xux. During his time as her bodyguard Wedge and Qwi began to fall in love. During this time Kyp Durron decided that Qwi possessed too much knowledge of the superweapons and desided to erase her memories of such things using the Force. As Wedge tried to help Qwi regain her past he was called to duty as pilot during a brief sqwirmish with Admiral Daala at the Maw Installation and was later put in charge of the Lusankya, which served as his base of operations for sometime. During this a couple years ahd past and Wedge decided that he had grown too far apart from Qwi, unknowingly to him Qwi felt the same way about their relationship. They both decided to end the relationship and just remain friends. After doing this Wedge decided it was time to take a break and took a vacation, but unfortunatley another mission for the New Republic was waitng for him. Airen Cracken had chosen Wedge to lead the delegation to Adumar since the people of Adumar respected and looked up to pilots. Wedge choose Tycho Celchu, Wes Janson, and Derek "Hobbie" Klivian as his assisstants on the mission. Although Wedge's diplomatic skills weren't the greatest he ways and beliefs about fighting were able to some what sway the Adumari to join the New Republic. During the mission he once again encountered Iella Wessiri along time friend and a somewhat past love. During this encounter with her he discovers that he is truely in love with her and proposes to her. Iella accepted his proposal and they were married. Wedge retired from the military and settled down with Iella and had two dqughters. One named Syal after his sister and the other named Miri.
