Moshe and Bilaam

Bilaam	Moshe
Balak want Bilaam to help expel Yisrael from his land	God wants Moshe to help bring Yisrael from Mitzrayim
Bilaam believes he is eloquent	Moshe believes he is a poor speaker

וַיָּקָם בִּלְעָם בַּבֹּקֶר, וַיַּחֲבֹשׁ אֶת-אֲתֹנוֹ; וַיֵּלֶךְ, עִם-שָׂרֵי מוֹאָב	וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה אֶת-אִשְׁתּוֹ וְאֶת-בָּנָיו, וַיַּרְכִּבֵם עַל-הַחֲמֹר, וַיָּשָׁב, אַרְצָה מִצְרָיִם; וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה אֶת-מַטֵּה הָאֱלֹהִים, בְּיָדוֹ	Bilaam goes with people from Moav Moshe goes with someone from Midian (צִפֹּרָה)
וַיִּחַר-אַף אֱלֹהִים, כִּי-הוֹלֵךְ הוּא, וַיִּתְיַצֵּב מַלְאַךְ יְהוָה בַּדֶּרֶךְ, לְשָׂטָן לוֹ; וְהוּא רֹכֵב עַל-אֲתֹנוֹ, וּשְׁנֵי נְעָרָיו עִמּוֹ	וַיְהִי בַדֶּרֶךְ, בַּמָּלוֹן; וַיִּפְגְּשֵׁהוּ יְהוָה, וַיְבַקֵּשׁ הֲמִיתוֹ	On the way, God wants to kill them -- Moshe for not going eagerly, Bilaam for going too eagerly

Note that another comparison can be made between the Kanaut of Pinchas and the Milah performed by Tzipora – in terms of the nationalities of those involved and the act itself.
