| Jordan Rudess "4NYC" Jordan and his wife Danielle created this CD from which the proceeds would go to help those affected by the 9-11 disaster. Not only is Jordan an excellent classical pianist in his own right ( Julliard trained) but he also is the keyboardist for "Dream Theater" a band that is similar to Rush in more ways than one. | Memoirs of a Geisha is really Realistic fiction at it's best. Although, I feel that Geisha were misportayed in the book, Arthur Golden still weaves a web of magic over the story of Sayuri, the peasant girl turned famous Geisha. |
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant Since most Jews would agree with me about the fact that the Matriarchs did not worship false idols exclusively (among other things said in this book that were not so.) I could try to nipick the entire book apart. However, Ms. Diamant's gift for telling a fine and engaging tale is unmatched. |
