The Beatles Anthology was a special on ABC in 1995. In three parts, it included interviews with Paul, George, and Ringo, bios, song origins, and clips such as the Ed Sullivan Show, Shea Stadium, and press conferences. It also featured the first two Beatles recordings in 25 years: "Free As A Bird" and "Real Love". A couple of months ago while rummagging through old tapes, I discovered that my parents had taped all three parts six years ago. That was one of my luckiest Beatles discoveries yet.
