Accessibility- *** This site has a user friendly format which in fairly standard. The gray of the background is monotonous. In the current issue section the standard icons appear halfway down a very long page, which is a deviation from the other pages where they appear at the top.
Logical Layout- *** This site has standardized icons. They refer to other areas in the site (ex. See Contact information) so these icons are important
Easy to Find Submission Guidelines- **** Just check out the Guidelines icon and all the submission rules are there.
Straight Forward Rules of Submission- **** I was satisfied with this part of the site because they give clear information on what to send, how to send it, how long until they respond, length (under 60 lines) and all of the other regulations (a bio is required).
Other- *** This site is not just for poetry it is also for short stories of under 5,000 words. This journal is published online monthly so the authors are new. There is a contest once a year for the Best Poem with a $50 prize.
Overall- **** The people that publish this journal seem to know what they are doing. Their guidelines are uncomplicated, if you do not follow them your submission is voided. They are published completely online which is interesting. I think that the journals that publish only online seem to have a less frenzied attitude as a whole than the journals that publish in paper only. Online publishing is less expensive, which I believe is a major factor in how this site can offer the features that it has.
THE IMAGES IN SCRIPT WEB SITE APPEARS TO BE DOWN FOR AN INDEFINATE PERIOD OF TIME.
THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE 2001 WEB SITE.
