Requirements: The requirements include a basic knowledge and love of baseball, enthusiasm, no serious discipline referrals; no conflicting spring sports or activities; Must meet and maintain standard UIL eligibility requirements. Interviiews held to determine membership. Open to girls in 10th to 12th grade.
Selection Process: Girls must complete application and go through an interview process in which a panel of judges rates each girl according to enthusiasm, school spirit, knowledge of the game and personality. Selection process is held in December.
Additional Information: Diamond Dolls help with fundraising efforts of the baseball team including selling signature ads for the Media Guide, making, selling and distribution of Val-O-Grams, selling Diamond Doll posters and pennants. When season begins, Diamond Dolls meet weekly for making posters and locker decorations. Attendance is required at all home and local games and events designated by sponsor.
