Small Boy has Narrow Escape
Harold Haviland struck by piece of falling derrick, arm is broken.
Yesterday afternoon Harold Haviland son of Mr. and Mrs. C.E Haviland was struck by a falling derrick and his left arm was broken in two places the wrist and the elbow. The accident happened on the ranch of Mrs. H. M. Burge of Paradise Valley. A hay derrick was being taken down preparatory for being moved. Harold was sitting near the base of derrick when all at once the main poll fell and struck him.
Beside breaking his arm it struck him a glancing blow on the side of his head, leaving two slight burses. A hay hand narrowly escaped being struck by a falling piece. The injury was attended to by the Paradise Valley Doctor.
