Visited MIT and Boston. Can you believe it's still snowing in April?

Graduation!!!!

Visited the Canadian Rockies. The scenary and wildlife was beautiful man! Didn't appreciate our rental van getting broken into while in Chinatown though....

Concrete Canoe Nationals in Philadelphia. We got 3rd place, our best score since 1998! Great job and many thanks to all the team members! Our efforts really paid off. Special thanks goes to the engineers and Rory, without whom we would not have had a boat.
Guys, the section on my website about concrete canoe is dedicated to y'all. Best of luck in everything ya do!

Worked with Prof. Abolhassan Astaneh-Asl on a research project involving computer simulation of structures undegoing blast and impact loading. I was priviledged to have been able to contribute to this project headed by an expert on structural steel design. I look forward to continue working with Prof. Astaneh in the Fall semester.

Singapore celebrates its 38th birthday! I enjoyed this special occassion with 500 other Bay Area Singaporeans at the annual National Day picnic held in Redwood City, CA.

Went to New York and DC with cheekin, my good 'ol fren and buddy from AC and NJ. Had a lot of fun, and the weather was real good, surprising for the east coast in winter huh? Times square countdown was great!

Up the north coast with Khian Hao who's now in stanford. Saw the giant coastal redwoods of California at the Ave of the Giants. The wonders of nature....

Graduation again! finally got my masters degree after a year of hard work, sweat and blood!

Took the Alaskan cruise from Vancouver to Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan. Awesome adventure! Saw a humpback whale breaching at Juneau, followed the white pass trail on train at skagway, visited the largest collection of totem poles in the world at Ketchikan and saw the hubbard and mandehall glaciers. Also saw some alaskan seals, dolphins, and bald eagles (wild, not in the zoo!). Sailing through the inside passage and the tongass narrows was also a breathtaking experience. Too bad no aurora borealis at this time of the year....
