Washington DC

Here are pictures from the trip to Washington one week before Spring Break. For people who like to visit the White House, the Capitol, the Pentagon, and many museums and other buildings, this is the place to go. Everything is free in Washington DC if you get up early enough to get tickets!

Here are the pictures:

Due to the movie Independence Day, this is the most popular building of Washington: the Capitol.
This is the front side of the White House. Nice little house with a beautiful garden. One thing I recognized about Washington is that the vegetation there is weeks ahead of Connecticut's vegetation.
In Washington they had a St. Patrick's Day parade one week before St. Patrick's Day. They are really ahead of time there.
Yes, Washington DC has a Chinatown as well, just like most cities here. It's always a good place for getting cheap and good food. Definitely better than MacDo & co.
That's a room in the hostel where we stayed. This is Georg's sister Doris, Georg, and Guido having breakfast.
The National Air and Space Museum of the Smithsonian Institution is just one of the many places you can visit for free in Washington.
