Start off the episode with showing that Joyce is getting her catscan. Buffy and Dawn wait outside in the lobby. Meanwhile Giles and Tara take a look at the phonebook add for The Magic Box. "Your one stop spot to shop for all your Occult needs. Tara thinks it's catchy. Willow, Xander, and Anya come in Xander and Willow complaing that Riley went on ahead an blew up the crypt with the nest of vamps thats in it. They try to research the woman again. Xander says that she's probably in the sewers or some other rat infested haunt. Well turns out she is in this luxury room. Some demon there is giving her a spell. He calls her glorificus....she says Just call me Glory. He is acting like his inadiquite to her. Dregg is the demon. He says you need to items she says she'll have'em and then tears out the page with the Magic Box ad. Riley goes into the Summer house relizing the door is open and finds a blanket. He goes up stairs. Spike is sniffing Buffy's sweaters. He admits that he is smelling it to Riley. Riley goes to throw him out. Spike tells him about last night and the drinks. Riley is ready to have Spike burn in the sunlight. Buffy continues to wait. Riley shows up. Riley goes to sit with Dawn as Buffy goes into find out wht happened. It appears that she has a shadow and have to do a biopsy to find out what it is. Back to the shop they complain about going in circles with research. Tara says what if she is something new or old or predicts written stuff. Glory shows up in shop ready to buy the thing she needs. She buys them and walks right out. Meanwhile Dawn is asleep. Riley comforts Buffy. The docotor comes in. He says everything went fine. He also says he she has a Brain Tumor. Buffy is shocked. He says her mother is better off now than a year ago. If the tumor isn't operable 1 out of 3 patients do very well. Which makes Buffy even more worried. He starts to ask questions. Ben comes to get the doctor away for a bit. Ben comforts Buffy some. he says she should rest go outside some.Buffy tells Riley to drop Dawn of at school and to tell her to meet her at the magic shop later. Meanwhile at the shop, Anya is going through receats she notices something. She says that they sold someone a amulet and a blood stone. Giles relizes he may of sold them to Glory with out knowing. These two items can cause some major havic or something. Rikey doesn't take Dawn to school instead the amusment park. The two talk while eating ice cream. They talk about the past and stuff. About her first Birthday in Sunnydale and such. Dawn says she is glad he is here. So if Buffy. She continues to tell him She cries a lot less with you than Angel. Riley is not taking is very well. When he says she doesn't get as worked up over Riley as she did with Angel. Anya almost spilled out what happened. Buffy gets Giles to say what happened. They found out what she is up to. Reptile worshipers is what the spell is for a Reptile demon. Xander says for once he would like to run into a cult of Bunny worshipers. Anya not pleased with that. (rember halloween Bunny make Anya scared) She continues to tell her about it. Buffy is ready to go find her. To the Sunnydale Zoo. Glory gets a cobra and puts it in a vase and they get ready to do the spell. Buffy finds Glory and starts attacking. The spell continues. Glory whoops on Buffy and tells it to arise. A Snake Serphant type thing breaks free. (hey it's a Mini Mayor) Glory gives it orders to find the key. Back to the shop agian. Riley comes in. They tell him that Buffy went after her. The Snake is wondering around while Buffy calls Giles about the snake. Riley is at the bar agian, Dawn in the shop and Buffy at the hospital agian. The Vamp from before comes up to Riley. The Vamp starts to bite and suck some blood. But soon Riley stakes her. Meanwhile Mini Mayor is running around trying to find the key. Buffy goes to the shop. The Snake busts into the shop finds Dawn, Dawn is screaming and the snake runs away. Buffy goes after it. Giles runs to his car. Gives Buffy a ride to catch up. Glory is getting mad that he isn't back yet. The chase continue. Buffy get out goes after it. She manages to get on top of it and choke it. It looks like it's dead. But it throws Buffy off. She attacks it punching it definatly killing it this time. We look up and see the huge buliding where Glory is at and she is looking for her snake. Afterwards Buffy and Joyce talk and she tells her to let Dawn in. Riley shows up. turtleneck and all. (rember he was bit) He comforts her she says she can't or she won't be able to stop. The episode ends with Riley in the hall by himself.
